Abraham Orozco (he/him) is a seasoned educator and storyteller with almost two decades of experience in teaching and curriculum development.
He has served as the Scientific Arts Director at Heart of Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization that provides project-based, experiential learning to underrepresented youth in Los Angeles. In this role, Abraham established a STEAM program that has made a significant impact on the lives of countless young people. One of his most notable achievements was the creation of a full fabrication lab at an all-girls school that provides a safe and creative space for young women to explore STEAM principles and discover their potential.
As the former Director of Education Content at For The Win Robotics, Abraham worked closely with educators to ensure that everything developed by FTW Robotics, from course materials to teacher training, fosters personal growth and builds a strong community.
Abraham also works as the skate sharpener for the Pasadena Ice Skating Center, where he enjoys playing ice hockey and watching his daughters skate.
