Originally from Georgia, Bailey began her interest in education by working as a mentor for a middle school improvisation troupe. In 2016, she graduated from Georgia College and State University with a degree in middle grades education, concentrating in social studies and language arts. Performing arts have continued to be a source of inspiration for her, working as the coordinator and technical director of the school musical and Talent Show, while teaching 7th- and 8th-grade social studies in Alpharetta, Georgia.
In 2019, Bailey began a master’s program in media, concentrating on instructional technology, from the University of West Georgia. She graduated from UWG in May 2021, and moved across the country to California with her boyfriend and two cats to pursue a career in educational technology.
Bailey is incredibly excited for the opportunity to serve as Sequoyah School’s full-time educational technology specialist. She can be found in the Thinkering Tank on the upper K-8 campus.
