Ben has over a decade of experience working with young people in many capacities, but primarily as a theater teaching artist. Ben grew up in the Pacific Northwest and spent the majority of his formative years exploring the outdoors. Throughout the years, Ben has served as an outdoor instructor, a director, a theater teacher and the Assistant Camp Director for a theater focused summer camp at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts in Leavenworth, Washington. Ben also works with a lot of non-profit organizations on bringing theater and arts to underserved communities. Ben is passionate about arts education and the outdoors and how the two can combine to create empathetic humans.
