Sequoyah School seeks a dynamic and innovative Experimental/Performing Arts Teacher to lead our program. The Experimental/Performing Arts Teacher plays a vital role in fostering creativity, collaboration, and self-expression across all grade levels. This dynamic position requires enthusiasm, flexibility, and a passion for engaging students in the performing arts through a variety of projects and productions.
The Experimental/Performing Arts Teacher collaborates with faculty to incorporate theater into various subject areas and tailors teaching methods to suit the developmental stages of different grade levels. A key highlight of the program is the culminating 8th-grade production at the end of the school year. Additionally, the Experimental/Performing Arts Teacher is responsible for fostering an appreciation for performance arts, encouraging student voice, and supporting school-wide arts initiatives.
