Cristina earned her Early Childhood Education credentials from UCLA, participated in a study tour at the Reggio Emilia Institute in Sweden in 2014, and was part of the founding staff of the Pedagogical Institute of Los Angeles.

With a passion for social justice and activism in the classroom, Grace brings eight years of experience teaching in both traditional and progressive schools.

Leilani is a theatre-maker, storyteller, and teaching artist who has worked extensively with children with varying learning needs.

Kito Paul ’06 is the Associate Teacher in the Backyard and also serves as the Assistant Director of Summer at Sequoyah.

Ann has spent more than 20 years working at Sequoyah as a lead teacher in the elementary age classrooms and as a member of the student support team.

Katie’s academic foundation includes a degree in philosophy from UC Berkeley and coursework in chemistry at USC.

Ben serves as part of Sequoyah’s K-8 physical education program.

Ron comes to Sequoyah School from the Open Charter Magnet School where he was the music specialist, choir director, Rhythm Ensemble director, and film teacher for 11 years.

Erin exhibits, teaches under the guise of facilitating fearlessness, advocates for people who are experiencing homelessness, throws clay slabs, dances, and creates unusual spaces.
