Matt Hutaff (he/him) has spent nearly two decades advocating for higher education through web development and digital marketing and communications. A Bay Area native, Matt moved to Los Angeles to study journalism at the University of Southern California before building websites during the first Dotcom boom.

After stints at a variety of startups and film production companies, he returned to academia as Director of Web Strategy and Digital Communications at Scripps College in Claremont and as Director of Digital Marketing and Communications at the University of La Verne.

Matt has been married for 20 years, has two children in independent schools, and has two energetic golden retrievers. He loves to write and enjoys sharing Sequoyah stories with the broader community!
