Nyuol Lueth Tong (he/him) was born in South Sudan and educated at Duke University, the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and Yale University. He is the editor of There is a Country: New Fiction from the New Nation of South Sudan, In Their Faces a Landmark: Stories of Movement and Displacement, and The Enter Question: How to Ask and How to Answer. A Truman Capote Fellow and Forbes 30 Under 30, Nyuol’s writing has appeared in Gurtong, McSweeney’s, The Baffler, and elsewhere.
