Paula Thomas double majored in Latin American Studies and Peninsular Spanish for her bachelor’s degree, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Hispanic Literature, both from Brigham Young University. In 2021, Paula earned her PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literatures at UCLA, as well as a graduate certificate in Urban Humanities Initiative through the Department of Architecture and Urban Design. Paula completed her Postdoctoral work at UCLA from 2021-2022.

Outside of the classroom, you can find Paula reading, watching films, and walking her dogs.
