Leigh Urbschat

Leigh comes to Sequoyah as its Librarian and Media Specialist. Leigh’s previous roles include the Mirman School in Los Angeles and the Free Library of Philadelphia, where she worked in collection development and as a children’s librarian—a position that introduced her to the joys of working with kids and teens. Leigh is passionate about sharing her knowledge of children’s literature and helping young people to develop research and information literacy skills. She resides in Highland Park with her husband and two kids, ages one and four.
