A summer experience of inspired adventures designed to nurture curiosity and independence.
Summerhouse
Learn through play at Sequoyah’s Summerhouse! Kids ages 5-10 spend their summer days exploring, making new friends, and sharing in the joy of discovery.
Activities rotate week-to-week and include water play, STEAM activities, stop-motion animation, filmmaking, dance, baking, boat racing, all kinds of arts and crafts, and more!
Families can register for one-week blocks (or more)! Camp days run from 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Counselors-in-Training
Spend your summer having fun, making new friends, and building skills!
The Summerhouse Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is an opportunity for students ages 12-17 to expand their understanding of responsibility as well as their sense of self as part of a team. Training includes a week-long intensive process with students learning management, operational, and leadership skills. Then, for their selected two-week sessions, CITs put these skills into practice alongside Summerhouse crew and campers.
Field Studies
The Summer at Sequoyah Field Studies program is open to students who are looking for a fun outdoor experience this summer!
Summer opportunities align with Sequoyah’s mission to challenge the mind, nurture the heart, and celebrate human dignity. Our approach to outdoor education welcomes everyone, regardless of past experience or background, to join a group of peers in community among breathtaking natural surroundings.
No prior experience is needed to participate, but trips may feature different levels of physical exertion.
Athletics
Sequoyah’s summer Athletics clinics are open to all skill levels, all genders, and all members of the community — not just Sequoyah students!
Join the fun and learn from fun, experienced coaches about athletic fundamentals, rules of each sport, skill building, physical conditioning, team dynamics, and so much more!
