Sequoyah School Alums

You are always welcome at Sequoyah!

Being a Sequoyah alum or alum parent is a lifelong experience, and Sequoyah’s Alum Office is dedicated to strengthening that sense of connection long after commencement.

Our alum families are an integral part of our school community and we hope to be a homebase to which you return again and again.

"Across classes ranging from Feminist Literature and Theory to Graph Theory, [Sequoyah's] circle brings everyone in—allowing us to joke around and entertain each other as we do work, but also allowing us to have important and sometimes hard conversations, holding space for each person to express their viewpoint. Not only have I learned how to form an argument and cite my sources, but I learned how to listen and interact with authenticity and express myself with honesty and care.

"I think this is exactly what has made Sequoyah’s education so special. It’s not just about passively absorbing knowledge but being in a relationship with others as we learn."
