Sequoyah School seeks a dynamic teacher to join the faculty. This position will work closely with members of the Mathematics Department to build a vibrant program.

Roles and Responsibilities
Faculty position roles and responsibilities include:
- Teach one-two 80-minute sections of algebra or geometry per term (please see our Curriculum Guide)
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 years mathematics or STEM instruction at the middle, high school, or college level.
Successful candidates will also have the following qualifications:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or STEM-related subject, masters preferred
- Have experience teaching mathematics or STEM-related subjects
- Professional experience in progressive models of education and curricula preferred
- Are passionate about project-based, student-centered pedagogy and experiential learning
- Have experience with or have an interest in changemaking and service-learning
- Are interested in the collaborative work of faculty, including curriculum planning
