Brian has worked in outdoor education for over 15 years, spending well over a thousand days in the field with students throughout California, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, and Oregon. He is certified as a Single Pitch Instructor through the American Mountain Guides Association and Wilderness First Responder through WMI NOLS.
Brian’s primary focus is on making the outdoors approachable and inviting to everyone, regardless of their background, by creating an environment that provides opportunities for personal growth and discovery.
He is proud to be directing one of the country’s leading K-12 outdoor education programs at Sequoyah School alongside a fantastic team.
