An enthusiastic educator from Brooklyn, New York, Javany (she/her) brings over five years of experience in education, with a strong background in mathematics instruction and student-centered learning. She holds an MS in Mathematics from Cal State LA and has taught everything from pre-algebra to calculus at both the K-12 and college levels.
Javany’s goal is to change the mindsets students have about math and help them realize math can be complex and challenging, but never hard. MATH stands for Mistakes Allow real Thinking to Happen.
