Leilani Brooks is an accomplished theater educator and director with over two decades of experience on and off the stage, specializing in inclusive arts education for all children. Holding a BA in Theater Education from UCLA with a focus on Artsbridge education, she creates pathways to higher education through performance art. Her classes explore acting, improvisation, playwriting, filmmaking, Commedia Dell’arte, puppetry, musical theater, and stagecraft.
Leilani has directed numerous productions, including Into The Woods, The Addams Family, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Green Eggs and Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, I Hate Shakespeare, and a host of films. She is passionate about providing a platform for students to tell stories that resonate with audiences, provoke thought, and encourage change, fostering both personal growth and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Leilani is committed to creating a theater space where every student feels valued and supported, ensuring that all children can thrive in the arts.
