A founding Humanities teacher of Sequoyah’s high school, Sean Hamidi returned to Sequoyah in 2022 after working in progressive politics during the 2020 Election cycle.
Sean is a native Angeleno who holds an B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he studied how social movements can shape the regulatory and legislative processes. He has spent considerable time in the non-profit and business sectors, including setting up mentoring programs in NYC public high schools and working as a management consultant with McKinsey.
In his free time, Sean enjoys mindfulness, dinner parties, basketball, and spending time with his pup Ryu.
