A founding Humanities teacher of Sequoyah’s high school, Sean Hamidi returned to Sequoyah after working in progressive politics during the 2020 Election cycle.
A native Angeleno, Sean holds an A.B. in English from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he studied how social movements can shape the regulatory and legislative processes. He has spent considerable time in the non-profit and business sectors, including setting up mentoring programs in NYC public high schools and working as a management consultant with McKinsey.
In his free time, Sean enjoys playing board games, hosting dinner parties, and watching basketball. He’s very grateful to be back in the Sequoyah family as a History/Humanities teacher, as are his wife and pups.
