Ed (he/him) is a Professor of Anthropology with a specialty in Archaeology in the Division of Anthropology at California State University, Fullerton. His research focuses on the early Native American inhabitants of California’s Mojave Desert, and uses the analysis of stone tools (among other means) to learn how these past peoples organized their lifeways. Though Ed began his schooling at Sequoyah in the 1970s, he has since moved on to earn a BA from the University of Colorado, MA from the University of Wyoming, and PhD from Washington State University. He, in part, attributes his successes to the early, “wild” days at Sequoyah and is delighted to give back as a member of the board of trustees. Both of his children, not to mention both brothers, several nieces and nephews, graduated from or currently attend Sequoyah.
