Waleed (he/him) has more than 20 years of corporate finance and accounting experience in a variety of industries in both private and public companies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers focused on its technology, information, communications, and entertainment sector. More recently, Waleed consults, serving interim executive financial roles, handling mergers and acquisitions due diligence, post-acquisition integration, debt restructuring, and implementing technical accounting guidance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Board, Waleed was active in development at the Children’s Center at Caltech and Sequoyah, where he co-chaired the auction committee. He has one child currently attending Sequoyah’s K-8.
