Welcome to Sequoyah!
Since 1958, Sequoyah has engaged with a curriculum that celebrates curiosity and creativity. Our extraordinary faculty and staff embrace each student’s individuality, supporting their well-being as the foundation for intellectual flourishing, and Sequoyah students are emboldened to ask deeper critical questions, consider multiple perspectives, and explore issues they care about so that they can develop their academic skills.
At Sequoyah, we know each child’s sense of belonging and the diversity of our community are keys to successful skill development and a strong education. From K-8 homeroom projects and shares to the high school’s Social Innovation Program, and with K-12 Field Studies throughout, students engage deeply with each other and the world around them to develop their academic strengths while teachers guide them to hone their interests and self-awareness. Ultimately, Sequoyah students apply knowledge creatively, collaboratively, and critically to take ownership of the issues that matter to them.
I’m so proud of our vibrant school and confident our students will be ready for whatever challenges they face. Thank you to our families for being an integral part of this journey.
For those searching for a school to call home, consider joining us as we challenge the mind, nurture the heart, and celebrate human dignity!
