Lisa Segarra (she/her) has been a language teacher for more than thirty years, teaching K-12 in remarkable private schools in Spain, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. After finishing her master’s in psychology at the University of Barcelona, Spain, she moved to California and became a Montessori and Waldorf teacher, having taught in several different schools among them: Berkeley Montessori School, San Francisco Waldorf High School, Wildwood School in Santa Monica, and Pegasus in Huntington Beach. She also holds a California single subject credential.
She is dedicated, passionate and innovative about her teaching methods. Above all, care and consideration for children and youth are most important to her. Her passion is teaching Spanish, traveling and learning languages. She enjoys swimming and exercising and spending time with her family and friends.
