Taejo (he/him) is a managing director in Oaktree Capital Management’s real estate group, leading Oaktree’s fund investments in industrial and hospitality property related opportunities.  He has held and continues to hold multiple public and private company board positions at Oaktree’s portfolio companies. Mr. Kim received a B.A. degree in economics with honors from the University of California, Berkeley. Taejo is a Southern California native, having grown up in Orange County and currently resides in South Pasadena with his wife Naoko. He is a proud father of three children. Two are currently attending Sequoyah’s K-8 and one will be soon.
