Frances Cameron

  Health & Wellness Specialist

Frances Cameron (she/her) grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest before receiving her Masters in Teaching from USC. Ten years of teaching in the greater Los Angeles area yielded experiences ranging from classroom teacher and curriculum developer, to teacher mentor and instructional coach.

In 2018, Frances helped initiate and develop the Health & Wellness program at The Episcopal School of Los Angeles. She then expanded the course into a vertically aligned elective for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. During that time, she saw and internalized the power of a Health and Wellness program that is identity-affirming and centered around inclusivity.

Frances is thrilled to join the Health and Wellness Department and the greater Sequoyah community. When not at school, you will find her hiking local trails with her two sons, tending to her veggie garden and fruit trees, and watching movies with her husband.
