Jesse (he/him) joins Sequoyah from Loyola High School in Los Angeles, where he taught history for the past six years and served as a Senior Service Project Facilitator helping students work on capstone community service projects. He is thrilled to join the Sequoyah community, where he can continue to guide students to engage deeply within the Social Innovation Program. Hailing from East Los Angeles, Jesse previously taught at UC Riverside, where he was a graduate student in Latin American history with a focus on Mexico.
