Julieta Reynoso

  Associate Teacher, Egret’s Perch

Born in Mexico City and raised in Los Angeles, Julieta has walked parallel paths in education and the arts. She has worked as a preschool teacher, a teaching artist for students ages 4 and up, and as a camp counselor for a local program focused on outdoor learning. She feels very fortunate to have had a chance to work with organizations whose values include a focus on socio-emotional development, access to the arts, a connection to nature, and a commitment to social justice, all of which are values that resonate deeply with her.

Julieta enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, making things out of clay, screen-printing, and taking pictures wherever she finds herself. She loves spending time with her son and family and their dog, Loki Rosso, who she can’t get enough of! In fact, she is a little obsessed with dogs and dreams of having more.

Julieta finds joy and inspiration working with young people and feels fortunate to be a part of the Sequoyah School family.
