Jacqueline (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience in school-based mental health and wellness. A proud Latina born and raised on the Eastside of Los Angeles, she is passionate about creating inclusive, healing-centered spaces where young people feel supported.
After earning her MSW from USC, she worked as a clinical social worker for the Pasadena Unified School District for over nine years. Before joining Sequoyah, Jacqueline served as the Mental Health Coordinator for a public school system in rural Alabama, where she led district-wide mental health initiatives, supervised a team of social work interns, and championed access to care for underserved communities. She is a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor and has been recognized for her advocacy and leadership in education and mental health.
Jacqueline is married and the proud mom of two daughters. She’s thrilled to be back home in the LA area and part of the Sequoyah community.
