Eddie Quintana

  Visual Arts

Eddie Quintana (he/him) grew up in the San Gabriel Valley before studying film production at the USC School of Cinema-Television. After earning his B.A., he embarked on parallel careers in education and film/television

Eddie began his professional writing career on The Disney Channel, writing for the dance sitcom Shake It Up. Since then, he’s been fortunate enough to write for nearly every genre of comedy — film and TV; live-action and animation; broadcast, cable, and streaming. He also produced the TV shows Not Dead Yet and Lopez vs. Lopez. Additionally, Eddie wrote and executive produced the pilot Public Defenders for ABC. Beyond his experience in television, he wrote and directed the short film “We’re Trying Here,” which screened at the 2019 Little México Film Festival.

Aside from teaching and writing, Eddie has performed in and directed improv shows across the U.S. and Canada. He’s also appeared on two different game shows, Catch 21 and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, but unfortunately he is not a millionaire. He loves the Dodgers, his wife, and their two sons, though not in that order.
